Personal Info
Hi there! I’m Nikisha Ramsaran, a Licensed Master Social Worker with over a decade of experience supporting children, teens, adults, and families through life’s ups and downs. I bring a warm, grounded, and compassionate presence to every session—because I believe healing starts when you feel truly seen, heard, and safe.
I specialize in helping clients navigate anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, behavioral challenges, mood swings, and family stress. Whether it’s a young child learning to manage big emotions, a teen wrestling with identity or social pressure, or an adult breaking free from old patterns—I’m here to walk alongside you with empathy, insight, and real support.
With kids and teens, I go beyond traditional talk therapy by using creative and engaging approaches tailored to their unique personality. You’ll often find us incorporating art, music, journaling, games, and imaginative play to explore emotions, build coping skills, and create a space that feels safe and empowering.
My work is grounded in evidence-based practices—like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Focused CBT (TF-CBT), play therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT)—but always guided by what feels right for you.
I also offer support for challenges related to ADHD, school issues, life transitions, and relationship stress. Whether you're navigating high school, college, parenthood, or anything in between, I’m here to help you build clarity, confidence, and connection.
At the heart of my work is the belief that everyone has the inner strength to grow, heal, and rewrite their story. Let’s work together to uncover your strengths, create meaningful change, and help you or your child truly thrive.
