Ato Williams, LCSW, CASAC-MC is a Licensed CLinical Social Worker anf a Credentialed Substance Use Counsleor with advanced certification.  As an African American man with lived experience of incarceration, Ato brings a unique and powerful blend of clinical expertise, deep empathy, and a profound commitment to  justice and healing.  With extensive experience supporting justice-involved individuals and their families, Ato integrates evidence-based practices with a personal understanding of the challenges faced by those navigating complex systems.  His work is grounded in a restortative approach that prioritizes dignity, resilience, and long-term recovery.  Ato has served as a mental health and substance use consultant for New York City's Administration for Children's Services (ACS) and was a member of the NYC Department of Health and Mental Hygiene (DOHMH) and NYPD's Co- Response team; an initiative designed to improve outcomes for individuals experiencing menatl health crises across NYC.  In addition, he has held various clinincal and/or leadership po sitions at many of New York City's leading social services organizations.  Above all, Ato is a devoted husband and father of three.  He remains deeply passionate about building equitable systems of care and creating transformative pathways for the communities he serves.  Ato currently has limited avaiablity on weekeds for pateints with Cigna, Aetna, Carelon Behavioral Health, and Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield.
